Muppet goodness!

I know that I am a little behind the curve in posting about this, but I have got to sound in.

In the past few years, the Muppets (yes, the Muppets...Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy...you know) have released several "viral videos" via YouTube. They were brilliantly done, from Beeker singing (in 6-part harmony) the Ode to Joy to Sam the Eagle (and gang) doing a take of "Stars and Stripes Forever". All of them (5 in total) were fantastically done in true Muppet fashion. They have all even passed the "applies-to-all-ages" test, making HUGE Muppet fans out of my two kiddos! (the Princess even asked that I put them on her computer to watch any time)

Sadly it has been 2 years since the last YouTube video was released, until last week. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Muppets released their cover of the Queen classic "The Bohemian Rhapsody"...it is their most brilliant yet!

I love the way that the Muppets have mixed the "Adult humor" (more nostalgia than real Adult humor) with the child-like fun and innocence. The Muppets take humorously omitted the reference to a murder and other very Adult themes from the song and inserted their Muppet goodness. Animal, as usual, steels the show, followed closely be Beeker. One of my favorite things is the re-emergence of Bip Bipadappa (aka MahNahMahNah). I love that character and he is very true to himself in this video.

If you are a fan of (or even 'just like') the Muppets and you have not checked out this video...DO IT! You will not be disappointed!

Until next time...
